Aglow is submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and is led by the Holy Spirit. Aglow is committed to working toward unity in the body of Christ. Aglow is committed to the truth that our personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the source of the character traits we desire to live by: - Integrity - Authenticity - Humility - Honesty

Aglow is committed to seeing women restored, equipped, and empowered to reach their God-given destiny.
- Recognizing that restoration begins with salvation through Jesus Christ, Aglow is committed to the Great Commission(Matt 28:18-22).
- Recognizing that equipping comes through caring, open relationships that foster healing, Aglow is committed to providing a safe place for women to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and others.
- Recognizing that empowerment comes through understanding your value, purpose, and destiny in God, Aglow is committed to enabling and encouraging women to develop and use their gifts and abilities to further the kingdom of God.

Aglow is committed to being a ministry in which prayer is of primary importance. We are therefore committed to maintaining and strengthening the global network of prayer that has been established through women around the world. Aglow encourages each woman to commit to personally pray for her "land," that is, her family, neighbours, co-workers, community, and her nation.
Aglow also encourages and practices regular corporate prayer at all levels of the ministry.

Aglow is committed to developing and training women in leadership so as to fulfill their calling and destiny in God.
- Recognizing that quality leadership involves development of character as well as knowledge of leadership skills, Aglow is committed to providing materials and training opportunities that help to mature the whole person.
- Recognizing that leaders continue to grow by experience, Aglow is committed to providing opportunities for women to serve in leadership roles at various levels of the ministry.
